The Gora Group is a Brooklyn-based real estate owner-operator. We own and manage boutique office buildings in Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn — including 188 Montague Street and 32 Court Street — and we run them the way the best small hotels are run: hands-on, on site, and personally accountable.

That is not a slogan. Our management is in the buildings, every day. When a tenant has an issue, it goes to someone who can fix it, not into a queue. When a prospective tenant wants to make a deal, they talk to a principal, not a leasing broker working three buildings across town. We lease our space ourselves, directly, which is why we can give a straight answer the same day instead of running it up a chain.

We are long-term owners, not flippers. The buildings we own, we intend to keep, improve, and stand behind — which is why we would rather do a fair deal with a tenant who stays than a hard one with a tenant who leaves.
